Description
A small non-sterile threaded rod with a slotted head used for internal spinal fixation in discectomy and spinal fusion procedures as a means of providing immobilisation and stabilisation of spinal segments in the treatment of various spinal instabilities or deformities. It is made of a material that does not chemically degrade or absorb through the body's natural processes. The cannulated version.
