Communication Power Supply BPK-01 for Safe Gas Metering Applications

Communication power supply unit BPC-01 is designed for use as part of the SGT16E turbine gas meter and other equipment located in the hazardous area. BPC-01 provides: digital communication with the meter connected by intrinsically safe communication bus with RS-485 interface; safe separation of intrinsically safe communication bus with RS-485 interface, its duplication and conversion into RS-232 interface; power supply of intrinsically safe circuits of the connected meter and other equipment. Field of application of BPC-01: equipment located in hazardous areas, in which the formation of mixtures of gases and vapours with air, classified as category IIC according to GOST 30852.11-2002, is possible.

BOD-01 meets the requirements of TP TC 012/2011 "On safety of equipment for operation in explosive environments". Electrical circuits of the product entering the hazardous area are made in [Ex ia] IIC version (intrinsically safe electrical circuit) according to GOST 30852.0-2002.
