Dual-Track Snow Plow SDP-M2 for Efficient Railway Snow Clearance

The double-track plough snow plough SDP-M2 is designed for clearing at high speed railway tracks from snow drifts up to 1 metre high at snow density of 0,5-0,6 t/m³. The snowplough is a special all-metal four-axle wagon equipped at the ends with mouldboard planes at an angle of 50 degrees to the track axis. The peculiarity of the snowplough is the possibility to clean the tracks from snow with the locomotive placed both behind and in front of it, due to which the snowplough SDP-M2, besides the cleaning of crossings, can be used for cleaning of station railway tracks, access roads of enterprises.
