Functional Shoulder Prosthesis PR4-R.1 for Independent Living and Self-Care

Designed to ensure the actions of disabled persons (in accordance with the level of amputation) for self-care at home and in public places and to perform some functions of the lost limb, including work requiring physical effort.

The prosthesis shall consist of a hook-gripper or working attachments, hook-gripper attachment, wrist assembly, elbow-forearm assembly, shoulder sleeve, active control elements, silicone sleeve (if medically indicated), cosmetic lining and lining cover (if necessary), prosthesis attachment elements. The application of the hook-gripper or working attachments, wrist assembly is made in analogy with the manufacture of prosthetic hand and prosthetic forearm of the worker. To control the prosthesis, there shall be a link attached to the gripping mechanism and connected to the axillary attachment loop at the level of the shoulder. The shoulder sleeve shall be made of laminated plastic based on bonding resins or thermoplastics.
