Hydrochloric acid from abgases of organochlorine production is used in the chemical industry - for acidification of brine in the production of caustic soda, for the production of regenerated hydrogen chloride, for the production of metal chlorides, in ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy to remove the oxide film from the surface of metal, in the process of leaching metal from ores; in other industries - for cleaning boilers and for chemical water treatment, not related to drinking water supply.
