Description
A non-sterile rod of metal or other material that is inserted into the intramedullary canal of the humerus to immobilise the fragments in a position to promote fusion. The article may also be used to reinforce bone in various pathological conditions. The product may be lockable or non-lockable, and may be provided with components designed to fix more proximal or distal portions of the bone. It is a single use product and must be sterilised before use.
