Description
The working process of double conversion of steam energy takes place in the flow part of the steam turbine. The flow section includes guide blades and working blades. The guide vanes are fixed stationary in the turbine casing (stator). They accelerate the steam flow and direct it to the working blades of the turbine at an optimum angle. The guide blades are placed in the diaphragms, forming nozzle taper channels. According to the method of manufacture, these blades are solid milled.
