Traumatic cartridge of 18x45 calibre for self-defence

The 18x45 calibre cartridges with unique electric primers are used in the "OSA" complex. Their main difference from conventional pistol ammunition is that the bullet acquires energy by accelerating only in the cartridge case, which acts as the barrel. This scheme allowed to create extremely light and compact pistols. The main modification of the 18x45 cartridge is the 18x45T traumatic cartridge. On impact, the rubber bullet delivers a blow that incapacitates the attacker while minimising the likelihood of serious bodily injury.
