Description

Vacuum switches VF40 are designed for operation in three-phase alternating current networks with rated voltage of 35 kV with isolated or earthed neutral through arc suppression reactor or resistor. Overall and connection dimensions of the switches allow not only to install them in complete switchgear (switchgear), produced to date, but also to install them when replacing the circuit breakers that have served their time (retrofit).

Poles
The pole body is a die-cast construction made of dielectric materials. A VDC is installed inside the pole. The contact leads of the pole are connected to the corresponding contacts of the VDC.
Drive
The switch actuator is spring-loaded, independently acting, utilising the mechanical energy of a pre-loaded spring. The spring mechanism provides movement of pull rods of movable contacts of VDK with the required characteristics of speed and travel.
