5-Axis 3D Printer Stereotech FIBER 530 for Advanced Additive Manufacturing

Stereotech FIBER 530 is a 5-axis 3D printer with 5D additive manufacturing (5Dtech) FDM printing technology for creating continuous fibre reinforced products. 5-axis printers have additional degrees of freedom that allow the workpiece to tilt and rotate during the printing process. The technology opens up the possibility to change the direction of the layers and produce parts up to 4 times stronger.

In addition, with 5Dtech it is possible to create complex models without overhanging supports. In the FIBER 530 printers, an additional extruder is used to apply continuous carbon fibre during the printing process. As a result, the strength properties of the reinforced products are comparable to aluminium.The printer comes with STE Slicer software for fully automatic model preparation for 3-axis and 5-axis printing and continuous reinforcement fibre path calculation.
