Absorbing Apparatus APE-90-JDT Class T2 for Freight Car Couplers

The absorbing apparatus APE-90-ZhDT of class T2 is designed according to GOST 32913-2014, is intended for installation in the auto couplers of freight cars, as well as providing increased protection requirements from the action (perception and damping) of longitudinal forces arising during shunting operations and transient modes of train movement. By the method of energy absorption the absorbing apparatus belongs to the group "elastomeric". The peculiarities of this absorbing apparatus include adjustable characteristics, which means that if the impact force increases, the damping and elasticity forces will increase proportionally.

Advantages of our apparatus: It does not need to be adjusted, it is ready for use and extreme loads immediately. In addition to the elastomeric shock absorber, it is equipped with an elastic element made of rigid elastomer. It is already equipped with a thrust plate and does not need to be retrofitted or compressed.

It does not lose its properties at minus temperatures and is suitable for locomotives.
