Acoustic grand piano "Mikhail Glinka" M-208

Small concert grand piano. The instrument is made according to the project of the Czech factory. The W.Hoffmann Professional P206 grand piano was used as a prototype.

The length of the instrument is 210 centimetres. Characteristics Hand-carved spreitzes made of solid pine wood. Steg made of solid red beech and hornbeam wood.

Deck and rips are made of selected alpine spruce grown at altitudes above 1500 metres. Sensitive 88-key keyboard. Keys made of mountain spruce.

Cross bar of the piano case made of solid beech and pine wood. Wirbelbank made of hardwood. Hand intonation of the hammers of the playing mechanism.

Cast iron frame cast in a special mould made of furan resins, painted with lacquer containing silver. Metal parts are chrome-plated. The playing mechanism is made at the factory C.Bechstein (Germany).

Hammers are covered with felt from sheep's wool. Three pedals.
