Acti-Fine® Vacuum Blood Collection Tubes for Serum Separation - 13x100 mm, 3.5 ml

Acti-Fine® vacuum tubes for serum production contain micro-particles of silica (Silica SiO2), applied to the inner walls of the tube and activate the process of blood coagulation. A separation barrier in the form of a gel at the bottom of the tube is used to separate the formed serum from the clot. The use of separating gel tubes is useful to provide a stable barrier between the clot and serum during transport and storage of the sample. The Acti-Fine® serum collection tube is used for immunochemical, biochemical and drug monitoring applications. Fully threaded screw threads on the cap and on the tube to avoid spillage of material during transport, mixing and centrifugation, and to open and close the tube repeatedly without splashing material, to avoid the risk of contamination.
