Altami OM-U Object Micrometer for Accurate Microscope Measurements

Object-micrometers "Altami OM-U" are intended for measuring magnification, linear field of view of microscopes, projectors, division value of ocular scales and grids, including virtual grids in software, when working both in transmitted and reflected light, as well as for verification (calibration) of microscopes and projectors. Description of the measuring instrument The principle of operation of object-micrometers is measuring the length of the measured object by superimposing the image of its scale on the measured object. An object-micrometer is a glass plate of rectangular cross-section.

The scale surface is located in the centre of the plate. The scale surface is marked with strokes by photolithography. The length of the scale is 1.0000±0.0006 mm.

Distance between the centres of any adjacent divisions 0.0050±0.0001 mm.
