Description
The module is designed to generate DC signals in the range of 0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA. It has two single-wire analogue output channels with a common zero potential circuit ("ground"). The output signal conditioning path is electrically powered by 20.4 to 28.8 VDC supplied to the module through the knife contacts or front contacts numbered 3 and 7 of the field power port.
The module provides overload protection and LED indication of FBUS communication and overload on the output channels. The OM751, OM752 and OM753 modules can be used to input field supply potentials.
