Automatic Control System for Electromagnetic Suspension of Centrifugal Compressor Rotor "Neman-R-100" for Optimal Performance

The system of automatic control of electro-magnetic suspension SAU EMP "Neman-R-100" is designed for control of active electro-magnetic bearings of centrifugal compressor rotor (CCR). It is used as a part of active magnetic bearings of natural gas centrifugal compressor rotors. The Neman-100 EMP SAU provides stabilisation of the rotor in the field of electromagnets, integration into the GPA SAU, as well as service and diagnostic functions. The main components of the EMMS are rotor position meters and control cabinet (EMMS control cabinet). The EMMS control cabinet is based on programmable logic controller (PLC).
