The thawer is designed for rapid thawing and warming of plasma, blood, erythrocyte-containing components, frozen cryoprecipitate, as well as blood components and infusion solutions in two containers or vials with a capacity of up to 500 ml or four containers of up to 250 ml after storage in a frozen state immediately before transfusion to the patient.

The device is a water bath equipped with a thermometer, sound and light indication, overheating protection, coolant disinfection unit, water level sensor. The defrosting device uses the "Gentle defrosting" technology, which eliminates mechanical impact on the object to be defrosted.
