Description
Shaft automatic ventilation doors (SHAVD) are designed for complete or partial isolation of ventilation jets in mine workings, through which there is movement of people or transport. To reduce air leakage it is recommended to install at least two doors in series (in this case they form a Ventilation airlock). Doors are placed in stone, concrete or wooden lintels. Excavations with intensive traffic are equipped with automatically opening doors To regulate air distribution in the excavation system, ventilation doors with a window and a flap are installed in them.
