Description
The device is designed to measure the light transmission coefficient of automotive glass thickness from 3 to 6 mm in the wavelength range 380-780 nm in accordance with GOST 32565-2013. The device is a portable set with power supply from the regular battery or from the car battery via cigarette lighter. In each case the appropriate cable from the device set is used.
The device together with the standard battery and its cable is placed in a belt pouch and can be deployed outdoors. The source of radiation is an incandescent lamp OP 6.3-0.22. The radiation receiver is a photodiode FD 263-01, which is preceded by a light filter SZS-21, correcting the range of spectral sensitivity of the photodetector in the visible region of the spectrum.
