Autonomous Air Conditioner KVA-6 for Enhanced Locomotive Climate Control

A self-contained air conditioner (hereinafter referred to as KVA-6) designed for use in the cabins of diesel and electric locomotives (hereinafter referred to as locomotive) in order to improve the microclimate parameters and provide optimal working conditions for the locomotive crew. It is allowed to install KVA-6 on other types of rolling stock, provided that the requirements of safety standards on the Federal Railway Transport, as well as the requirements of sanitary norms and rules that establish requirements for a particular type of rolling stock are met.
