Single row deep groove needle roller bearings with point rings are equipped with needle rollers. The bearings can support high radial loads with relatively small dimensions and are used in units with limited radial dimensions. Bearings cannot support axial loads. Needle roller bearings are inferior to conventional roller bearings in terms of permissible rotational speeds, but work well when one of the rings is rocking, even at high rocking speeds. Field of application of the bearings: cardan shafts of railway machinery; supports, the dimensions of which are limited in the diametral direction.
