Description

SGC-100 belt grinding machine is designed for centreless grinding and polishing of round workpieces with diameter from 10 to 205 mm and length from 300 mm in coolant environment. The workpiece material can be aluminium and its alloys, non-ferrous metals based on copper, ferrous steels, stainless steels and other materials subjected to grinding with endless grinding belts. Surface roughness is achieved by using belts with different grits as well as Scotch-Brite polishing belts of all types. To achieve a mirror-like surface, it is necessary to use an abrasive-free belt with a polishing paste of the required grit. Since grinding takes place in a coolant environment, the belt material and workpiece must allow working in a coolant environment. The body and main parts of the machine are made of steel and painted with high quality paint, which provides protection against environmental influences.
