Blood Serum Electrophoresis Device with Adjustable Parameters for Research Applications

The device for electrophoresis of blood serum on cellulose acetate films with adjustable parameters of voltage, current and modes UEF-01-"ASTRA" (hereinafter referred to as the device) is designed for the study of blood serum spectrum by electrophoresis in biochemical, clinical-diagnostic and scientific laboratories of medical institutions
The use of cellulose acetate membranes for electrophoresis allows to reach a compromise and use the main features of the films - chemical homogeneity of the material and the same pore size, very small capacity of the layer, requiring a small sample volume (0.2-2 µl), rapid separation and colouring of proteins (20-80 min), insignificant endoosmosis, ease of background washing, as well as their relatively low cost.
The device consists of a power supply, a division chamber, three applicators for eight positions each, three bridges for film fixation, three plates for eight positions each, four containers for reagents, and a work table.
