Catalyst 230-19 - High-Performance Two-Valent Tin Salt for Organic Reactions

Catalyst 230-19 is a divalent tin salt of 2-ethylhexanoic acid. Catalyst 230-19 is well soluble in ether, toluene, benzene, chloroform and other organic solvents, insoluble in water, water is hydrolysed. It is low-toxic, explosion-proof, flammable.

Catalyst 230-19 is produced stabilised with paraoxydiphenylamine.Catalyst 230-19 is used in production of elastic FPU. It has good solubility in simple polyester and most organic solvents. The catalyst 230-19 is considered worldwide as a reference catalyst in the production of elastic polyester-based flexible block FPU due to its exceptional ability to accelerate the urethane formation reaction between NCO-groups of isocyanate and hydroxyl groups of polyether polyol.

The use of catalyst 230-19 provides a high quality foam rubber with homogeneous properties. The addition of Tin Octoate to the formulation allows the production of large quantities of flexible block foam.
