Description
The apparatus allows to determine one of the parameters of the International Classification of Hard Coal, namely, the sinterability of a particular coal or mixture of coal and inert additive by slow heating under standard conditions in quartz retorts. retorts. The coke residue obtained is compared with a reference scale of samples and a verbal description. The apparatus consists of a multi-tube furnace which allows simultaneous testing of 4 specimens simultaneously. The process of heating, maintaining the temperature during the test, and switching off is carried out automatically by the programme.
