Description
The ball valve has a locking element of spherical shape. It is one of the modern and progressive types of shut-off valves, which are increasingly used for various working conditions in pipelines transporting natural gas and oil, municipal gas supply systems, water supply, heating and other areas. It can also be used as a control valve. The movable element (gate) of such valves is a spherical-shaped plug - a ball, along the axis of which a through round hole is made for the passage of the medium. In pass-through valves for complete closure or opening of the passage is sufficient to turn the ball by 90 °.
