Description
The KRION-1 unit is designed to determine the molecular weight of substances by cryoscopy. The operating principle of the KRION-1 unit is based on the measurement of temperature depression - the difference between the crystallisation temperature of a pure solvent and a solution of the tested substance, which is then used to calculate the molecular weight of the tested substance. The KRION-1 unit is ideal for measuring the molecular weight of separated oils by cryoscopy in benzene in accordance with OST 153-39. 2-048-2003.
