Description

Reactors with natural or forced air cooling are designed to limit short-circuit currents in electrical networks and to maintain a certain voltage level in electrical installations in case of short-circuit in power systems. The reactor is a monolithic structure with the reactor winding itself as the basis and the main load-bearing element. All metal parts of the reactor are under the same voltage as the winding, eliminating the possibility of insulation breakdown. In the reactor winding design there are no disassembled mechanical connections (screw-nut, etc.), which ensures durability and eliminates the need for maintenance of mechanical connections during operation. The reactor does not contain liquids and flammable materials in its design, cannot be a source of fire, explosion-proof.
