Description

The main function of cyclones UC is to clean process emissions from non sticking and non fibrous dust, as well as dust mixtures containing dry sawdust and shavings. There are two types of design of cyclone UC: right-handed and left-handed. The first type of dust collecting device provides rotation of air flows clockwise, the second - counterclockwise.

Depending on the location of the fan, the cyclone of the UC series is equipped with a volute on the exhaust pipe or an umbrella. If the cyclone is installed for air cleaning on the discharge side of the air handling unit, ventilation umbrellas are used. If the cyclone is installed on the suction side of the air handling unit, a "snail" is used.

Dust from the hopper is removed periodically or continuously. The top level of the dust particles must be at least 400 mm below the hopper lid.
