DAS-ng(A)-FRHF Cable for Ground and Shallow Water Applications

For laying in the ground and shallow swamps; For laying in cable ducts, pipes, trays, blocks, tunnels, collectors, bridges and overpasses; Inside buildings. The cable contains a core of modular construction with a central power element made of dielectric rod, around which optical modules with freely laid fibres are twisted. The free space in the optical modules and in the cable core is filled with hydrophobic gel.

The core is covered with an aluminopolymer tape and an intermediate sheath made of polyethylene. Armour made of steel (or steel rope) wires is spirally applied on the intermediate sheath. The free space between the wires is filled with hydrophobic gel.

The armour is overlaid with a sheath made of a polymer composition that does not spread combustion, does not contain halogens and has low smoke emission. UV resistant; Excellent protection against rodents; Fire resistant.
