The TRANSKAN complex is designed for radiation monitoring of ring welded joints of large-diameter pipes during construction or repair of pipelines in trace or shop conditions (at pipe welding bases, etc.). To perform the "panoramic" inspection, a panoramic X-ray source shall be installed inside the pipe. To carry out the control according to the scheme "frontally" (through two walls), the directional X-ray source is installed on a special carriage moving along the guide belt synchronously with the detector.
