Description

BKM-516 drilling and crane machines are used in:

Electric power construction for drilling and installation of transmission towers; industrial and civil construction for drilling and installation of pile foundations with low bearing capacity; road construction and municipal services for drilling and installation of bridge and crossing piers, fencing and other types of construction works. BKM-516 and BKM-516A machines were initially designed as an alternative to MRK-750. New technical solutions provided a number of advantages: the ability to lift the load and quick change of drilling tool diameter, which allowed to expand the area of application - these are leader wells, power lines up to 35kV, and work over long distances in very rough terrain.

Technical Features:

Unique boom with extended piston stroke up to 5.5 metres. Type of the main drilling tool - paddle drill. The possibility of mounting the equipment on foreign-made vehicles (MAN, Tatra,...).
