DT-0.4-1500 Throttle Transformer for Electric Railway Systems

The choke-transformer of DT-0, 4-1500 type is designed for installation on railway sections equipped with AC autoblocking and DC electric traction at increased values of asymmetry current strength and traction currents in conditions of handling of goods trains of increased weight and length, more powerful locomotives, including sections with mountainous profile, high-speed and high-speed highways. The choke-transformer is designed to carry a rated DC current of 1500A in electric traction through each section of the main winding. The middle winding lead is rated for 3000A current.

The choke-transformer operates in the temperature range from minus 50C to plus 60C and is manufactured in climatic version U, category 1 according to GOST 15150-69. According to the method of protection of a person from electric shock the choke-transformer belongs to class 0 of GOST 12. 2.
