Description
The traction electric apparatus designed to create electrical contact between the electrical equipment of the rolling stock (EPS) and the contact network.
It is equipped with an automatic lowering system, which is triggered when the current collector is raised to a height of more than 7000 mm above the rail head level and when the slide inserts are destroyed.
Current draw of up to 1400 A when travelling and up to 300 A when parked, from the contact network voltage of 3000 V DC and 27 kV AC and the speed of the EPS up to 160 km/h.
It has an improved characteristic in comparison with LA 19-SET 160 1200..
