Electric Current Collector TPA-02 for Reliable Energy Transmission

The current collector is designed for transmission of electric energy from the power supply contact network through the insulated sliding changeable contact (shoe) of the current collector to consumers. The pick-up provides automatic, using pneumatic control, and manual disconnection and connection of consumers to the contact network. The pick-up is equipped with a device for connecting consumers to the power supply network from an external stationary power supply source via a "plug" type connector.

The current collector is a device having a base on which a manual and remotely controlled pneumatic actuator for switching on and off the slip shoe is installed. The current collector is designed with the function of lower connection to the current-carrying rail. The current is transmitted from the rail contact surface through the slip shoe electrically isolated from the base.

The current collector has a stepped adjustment to compensate for the operating parameters of the shoe working surface wear.
