Description
The seven-pin connector is considered standard and is fitted to all electric vehicles that are manufactured in Europe. Type 2 allows connection to single phase and three phase mains. The connector is compatible with Mode 2 and Mode 3 stations. Examples of cars using this connector are Hyundai Ioniq, Kia Soul EV, Opel Ampera-e (single phase only), Renault Zoe, European and American Tesla.
