Shells are designed to accommodate electrical equipment and its components, as well as to protect against contact of operating personnel to the electrical parts of electrical equipment components built into the shells and to protect these parts from environmental and mechanical influences. It is allowed to make openings in the enclosures for installation of cable glands, inspection windows and possible installation of a heating system.
