The Alarm Loop Extension Unit provides reception of alarm notifications from detectors installed in hazardous areas and their power supply. "BRSHS-Ex" version 2 is an intrinsically safe barrier and is installed outside the hazardous area. Depending on the version can transmit information about the status of intrinsically safe loops.
