Glued Construction Glass Units for Enhanced Thermal Insulation - MG Units

Glass package is a construction consisting of two, three or more sheets of glass hermetically connected through a distance frame and forming one or two closed chambers filled with dried air or inert gas. The insulating glass unit has a special role in modern construction. The main task of a double-glazed window is to increase thermal insulation, reduce noise in the room, increase light penetration, impact resistance and increase resistance to wind and snow loads.

It can be of different shapes and sizes. The main material in the double-glazed unit is glass, it can have different thicknesses (from 4 to 12mm). At the manufacturer's factory, the glass can be coated with a special magnetron sputtering, which minimises the intensity of ultraviolet radiation.

Before assembling the double-glazed unit, its components (glass) can be pre-treated with various types of processing: edging, heat treatment, colouring, lamination (triplex assembly), etc..
