Description

Guaranteed power supply devices for auxiliary systems and automation systems of oil refineries (UGP) are designed to supply the systems of oil refineries belonging to the I category of electric consumers in terms of reliability of power supply. There is a distinction between guaranteed power supply devices based on UPS for power equipment (UPSPS) and UPS for automation and communication systems (UPSA)" UGPs are used to supply 50 Hz AC power to single- and three-phase receivers in the event of an outage or deterioration of power quality at the input. They can also serve to improve power quality by maintaining it within specified specifications. UGPs are used to ensure uninterrupted power supply of oil pumping station facilities, for accident-free shutdown of mainline and booster pump units in case of complete power failure, for maintaining self-starting conditions of pump unit motors in case of short-term voltage failure.
