Hermetic Oil Current Transformers TBMO Series for Accurate Measurement and Protection

Hermetic oil-immersed current transformers of TBMO series are large-scale current converters and are designed to generate signals to measuring instruments and protective electrical devices in 50 Hz AC electrical networks with a deaf earthed or effectively earthed neutral. They are designed specifically for AISCUE and combine high thermal and dynamic resistance at relatively low rated winding currents for commercial metering. The metering winding has an extended current range (up to 200%) while maintaining accuracy class 0.2S.

The transformers require minimal maintenance. No chief engineer is required during commissioning. It is sufficient to check the oil level during operation.

Oil sampling is not obligatory and is carried out at the discretion of the operating personnel, after emergencies or, if there are discrepancies in other parameters, as an additional diagnostic measure.
