High-Pressure Water Heater PVD 550-23-4.0-II for Thermal Power Plants

High pressure heater is designed for heating of feed water of boiler units of thermal power plant or steam generators of NPP, due to cooling and condensation of steam taken from intermediate stages of turbine. High-pressure heater PVD 550-23-2,5-I is a vertical welded apparatus with heat exchange surface made of smooth tubes twisted into two-plane spirals. The main units of the heater are the casing and the pipe system.

The working medium of the casing is steam, condensate. The working medium of the tube space is feed water. The whole heat exchange surface of the heater is divided into three zones:- steam cooling zone;- heating steam condensation zone;- heating steam condensate cooling zone.

Feed water flow rate is 550t/h. Feed water pressure in the pipe system - 23,0 MPa (kgf/cm). Pressure of heating steam in the housing - 3,5 MPa (kgf/cm).
