Description

PVS-65-01-U1 is designed to provide centralised power supply from the high-voltage train main line for single-deck passenger cars in trains Moscow-Yaroslavl, Moscow-Samara, Moscow-Belgorod. PVS-65-01-U1 consists of high-voltage and low-voltage parts, which are located in 2 standard hermetic undercarriage boxes. Any supply voltage can be applied to the converter input: 3000V and 1500V DC, 3000V and 1500V AC with frequency 50Hz and 1000V AC with frequency 16 2/3 Hz.

The converter at parking can function at supply from external AC network 3 x 380 V; 50 Hz with deviations of network voltage 10% from the nominal value. Control circuits of converters are supplied from the train mains of direct current 110 V +-30%. Output voltage of 2 channels of the high-voltage part can vary depending on the composition and characteristics of power consumers.
