High Voltage Vacuum Circuit Breaker VBS-27.5IV for Efficient Power Isolation

Vacuum switch with electromagnetic and spring drives of stationary version, outdoor installation with rated voltage 27,5 kV, frequency 50 Hz with normal insulation are designed for traction substations of electrified railways, sectionalisation posts and points of parallel connection of the contact network.

Operating conditions: The operating position of the switch is vertical. The switch is designed to perform the following operations: <ul> <li>- remote operative switching on and switching off of voltage;</li> <li>manual non-operative switching on;</li> <li>local operational and non-operational switching off;</li> <li>local operational and non-operational switching on of the switch with a spring drive, including in the absence of the drive supply voltage;</li> <li>execution of switching cycles according to GOST 687-78 with dead time pause of 0.3s during reclosure;</li> <li>special cycle O-0,3s-VO-6s-VO-180s-VO;</li> <li>automatic reclosing.</li> </ul>
