One of the necessary components of the refrigeration system are industrial vessels - receivers, designed to fulfil various purposes in the system circuit, namely: compensation for the difference in the evaporator filling with liquid when the heat load changes, drainage of condensed liquid refrigerant from the condenser, as well as storage of liquid refrigerant and operation of equipment in pump-circulation schemes.According to their purpose receivers can be linear, drainage, primary or circulation. Each is responsible for its own section in the overall refrigeration system and each has its own strictly defined functions.
