Industrial Utility Tractor UPM-1 for Heavy-Duty Applications

Base tractor UPM-1 is a self-propelled vehicle for industrial purposes, with four driving wheels with tyres 21,3R24 and engine YAMZ-236M2-59 (180 hp (132 kW)). It is equipped with a combined travel (possibility of travelling on rails) and 320 l/min hydraulic station with PTO drive. It is designed for installation of detachable mounted units, their delivery from the place of dislocation to the place of work and back, as well as for working movement and control of working processes performed by the units. The base tractor UPM-1 with mounted units performs various types of works on construction, maintenance, upkeep, current and major repairs of railway or tram tracks. It performs such labour-intensive works as alignment of sleepers to the mark, backfilling, replacement or removal of ballast, cleaning of rail-sleeper grating and other repair and construction works in the railway industry.
