Shields "INSTEP-1" art.Shch3AH are designed to protect the athlete's legs during training and competitions in various types of martial arts. (The design of the shield provides protection of the athlete's shin and foot. The shields are fixed by means of elastic band with Velcro fasteners.

To prevent Velcro from coming undone during the fight and training, the Velcro clip is made double. At the bottom, the shield is secured by a strip, which is attached to the athlete's foot. The shield is made of a combination of synthetic and cotton fabric.

The protective inner liner is a combination of different foam materials.
