Description
Surgical cutting instruments are designed for cutting various tissues, bones, cartilage and tendons, benign and malignant neoplasms during open and closed surgical operations. Amputation knife consists of a massive, often flattened, handle, wide neck, long blade and straight cutting edge. The width of the blade is small, relative to the length of the knife. The cutting edge curves steeply near the point; sometimes there is an arc-shaped depression on the side of the blade. The amputation knife also has a drain groove located along the blade.
