LED luminaire for bedside lighting in hospital wards. The luminaire has two separate illumination lines: upper illumination for general illumination and lower individual illumination. The individual lighting, which is created by the ECT luminaire, allows patients to read, take medication without inconveniencing their ward neighbours. The upper lighting is connected separately to a common power line and serves to illuminate the entire space of the ward. The proposed model can have a built-in call button for medical personnel. The luminaire also has a built-in socket for 220 V.
