Marine Diesel Engine M507D-1 for Ship Propulsion and Main Power

Ship diesel engine M507D-1 (2x56CHNSP16/17) according to TU24.06.5443-91 with Supplement No.1, designed for installation on ships as the main engine. Full power 6618 kW (9000 hp) at crankshaft speed 1900 rpm. The direction of rotation of the power take-off flange according to GOST 22836-77 is right or left, depending on the diesel engine version.

The two-stage summing reducer, depending on the modification of the M507D-1, has a gear ratio of 0.314 and 0.311 for right and left rotation respectively. The reducer ensures the operation of the diesel engine M507D-1 in forward and reverse by engaging the corresponding disc clutches, as well as operation under the single compartment (56ChN16/17).
